The first time you post or bid, you need to be invited into the system by someone who already has the authority to bid or post, or by sending email to job-share@illinois.edu asking to be invited.
When you post a job, you need to identify the goal of the job (for example, "To set up a Drupal web site"), identify the department/unit that is requesting assistance with this task, estimate the duration of the job (in person- hours, -days, -weeks, or -months), describe the skills necessary for completion of the job, suggest what seems to you to be a reasonable cost for completing the job (as a reference point for bidders), identify the personnel who will oversee the job, identify the personnel who will process payment for the job, give a date and time when the posting should be considered active, and provide an expiration date for the posting. You may also provide additional information that you think bidders would find relevant, and you may upload as many as three documents in connection with the posting.
